From its humble beginnings in the latter 70s , Jamaican Dancehall sound has experienced a substantial transformation. Initially sprouting from Kingston's dancehalls as a raw response to Reggae’s increasingly polished sound, it quickly developed with the arrival of digital production. The initial DJs employed sound systems and basic rhythms to gen
